In the first quarter of 2025, the food delivery app market in Europe showed varied performance across the top contenders on the iOS platform. Here's a closer look at the numbers from Sensor Tower, focusing on weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Vivino: Drink The Right Wine experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads from around 47K at the start of January to approximately 17.4K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar trend, peaking at about $75.9K in the last week of December before dropping to around $29.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a decrease from over 1.2M to about 655K.

In contrast, Jow - easy recipes & groceries maintained a relatively stable performance. Revenue saw a peak of approximately $3.4K in late February, while downloads fluctuated between 17.9K and 27.6K, ending the quarter at over 21K. Active users averaged around 460K, with a peak of over 500K in mid-March.

Tendy had a modest presence with low download numbers, peaking at 73 in early January. Revenue was inconsistent, starting at $291 and dipping as low as $165 towards the end of March.

Mealia - AI Grocery Assistant showed incremental growth in both downloads and revenue. Downloads increased from 240 to 1.1K by the end of March, while revenue steadily rose from $3 to over $1.7K.

Lastly, Steak Master - Perfect steaks had minimal activity, with downloads peaking at 34 in early January and revenue remaining under $40 throughout the quarter.
